The Position
Reporting to the Commercial Operations Value Stream Leader, you will serve as the vital link between our customers, sales team, and internal operations. You will ensure the seamless execution of project orders from the initial inquiry right through to final delivery. With a specific focus on door hardware scheduling and inventory management, you will play a critical role in keeping our projects moving efficiently and our customers happy.
Your responsibilities will include:
Customer Service & Collaboration:

Support customer service (especially during our busy morning hours), handling urgent inquiries regarding order follow-ups, pricing, stock issues, and project updates.

Partner closely with Business Development Managers (BDMs) and customers to align on project requirements, order adjustments, and delivery notifications.

Update CRM systems with project details and collaborate with procurement and distributors to coordinate seamless customer deliveries.
Order & Inventory Management:

Drive the timely entry of project orders and proactively manage order issues, including incomplete information, back orders, and cancellations.

Schedule deliveries by ensuring the correct release and allocation of stock based on project priority.

Coordinate door hardware packing, keying, and delivery scheduling, ensuring account clearance and order completeness.

Coordinate first-of-the-month orders, verifying account statuses and credit limits.
Reporting & Analytics:

Generate and analyze open order and stock status reports to monitor inventory and project progress.

Prepare bi-monthly forecast reports, comparing actual orders to forecasts, and consolidate data for the sales team.
What will make you succeed in this role?

Experience: 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing or order management environment (experience in the manufacturing industry is highly regarded).

Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). The ability to quickly learn door hardware scheduling software (Promaster Hardware) is essential.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written presentation skills, with the ability to relate to a wide variety of audiences.

Attention to Detail: Highly numerate and accurate with a strong focus on getting the details right the first time.

Work Style: You are a self-starter who can work autonomously and make decisions with the company's best interests in mind. You are also a flexible team player willing to step up and help with wider team tasks when needed.
