We are currently looking for a reliable and responsible Support Worker to support a client living in Manor Lakes.
About the Client
The client is independently mobile but has left-sided hemiplegia. Support will include:
- Assistance with showering
- Driving and transportation
- Grocery shopping and errands
- Meal preparation and setting up meals
- Light household duties
- General day-to-day support to help the client maintain an independent lifestyle
Available Shifts
- Monday–Friday: 11:00am–2:00pm
- Saturday & Sunday: 11:00am–1:00pm
- Every day: 5:30pm–8:30pm
We Are Looking For Someone Who
- Has relevant support work or care experience or is genuinely interested in providing ongoing care
- Is responsible, reliable, patient, and compassionate
- Can commit seriously to the role rather than treating it as a casual or short-term job
- Has good English communication skills
- Has been living in Australia for at least 6 months
- Has a valid driver’s licence and is comfortable driving, where required
Requirements
- Relevant Qualification (Students fine) - Individual support / disability support / community service / AIN / aging support
- CPR & First Aid
- Working with Children Card
- NDIS Worker Screening Card
