Responsibilities:
- Prepare, season, and cook a variety of Hong Kong-style dishes using traditional methods.
- Portion and present food according to restaurant standards.
- Manage food preparation for busy service periods while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering ingredients as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen in accordance with food safety standards.
- Store food properly to prevent spoilage and contamination.
- Supervise and train kitchen assistants or junior staff if required.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets customer expectations.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cook (preferably in Chinese/Hong Kong cuisine).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety.
- Reliable, responsible, and committed to high standards of food preparation.
- English, Cantonese or Mandarin speaking preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
