TD Interior Pty Ltd is a well-established commercial fit-out and shopfitting company specialising in the design, manufacture, and installation of high-quality joinery, cabinetry, and interior fit-out solutions for retail, hospitality, office, and commercial projects across New South Wales. Due to continued business growth, we are seeking an experienced Carpenter and Joiner to join our skilled team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture, assemble, and install custom joinery, cabinetry, shopfronts, counters, display units, and other commercial fit-out components.
- Read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and construction plans.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber, laminates, veneers, and other materials to project specifications.
- Install joinery and fit-out components on commercial project sites.
- Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project requirements, quality standards, and workplace safety regulations.
- Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades to ensure timely project delivery.
- Inspect completed work and undertake adjustments or repairs where required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with WHS requirements.
Requirements
- Relevant trade qualification such as Certificate III in Carpentry, Certificate III in Joinery, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 1 years of relevant experience in commercial joinery, shopfitting, or carpentry.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience with commercial fit-out, custom cabinetry, and joinery installation.
- Sound knowledge of woodworking materials, tools, machinery, and construction techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- Current driver's licence preferred.
