BlueStar Steel Frames is a fast-growing Australian manufacturer specialising in Light Gauge Steel (LGS) wall frames, roof trusses, floor joists and structural steel framing for residential, commercial and modular construction throughout Victoria.

About the Role
This is a hands-on factory-based role where you'll work as part of our manufacturing team producing high-quality steel framing systems.
Depending on your experience, your duties may include:
- Operating Light Gauge Steel (LGS) roll forming machines
- Setting up and monitoring automated manufacturing equipment
- Reading production drawings and cutting lists
- Assembling wall frames, roof trusses and floor joists
- Quality checking manufactured components before dispatch
- Loading, unloading and handling steel sections safely
- Using hand and power tools
- Packing completed frames ready for transport
- General factory housekeeping
- Assisting with stock control and inventory management
- Following company quality procedures and safe work practices
Skills & ExperienceEssential
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, construction or trade environment
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read and follow production drawings, measurements and instructions
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace safety
Highly Desirable
- Experience operating LGS roll forming machines
- Experience manufacturing steel wall frames or roof trusses
- Experience with Scottsdale or similar steel framing software and equipment
- Forklift Licence/Experience
- HR Truck Licence
- Welding or fabrication experience

Hours
Monday to Friday
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
(Some overtime may be available.)
Salary
Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
