Seers Digital | Full-Time / Contract | Hybrid/ Brisbane location
Seers Digital is looking for an experienced Microsoft Functional Lead – Power Platform & Dynamics 365 CE to join our growing Microsoft practice.
This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who understands the Microsoft ecosystem deeply, enjoys working directly with clients, and can confidently lead a solution from initial discovery and requirements through to design, configuration and successful delivery.
At Seers, we believe great technology starts with great people. We have built a culture around trust, ownership, flexibility and genuine care for our people. We keep bureaucracy to a minimum, don't believe in micromanagement, and give our consultants the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful work while being supported by an experienced leadership team.
As our Microsoft Functional Lead, you'll be the bridge between our clients, business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
You'll lead workshops, understand business problems, translate requirements into practical Microsoft solutions, and help ensure what we deliver is scalable, secure and aligned with Microsoft best practice.
This isn't purely a documentation or management position. We're looking for someone who remains comfortable being hands-on with Power Platform and Dynamics 365 CE while also being capable of leading solution discussions with developers, architects and senior client stakeholders.
- Lead functional design and delivery across Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 CE

- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs
- Configure and customise Dynamics 365 CE and Dataverse
- Design business processes, workflows and automation using Power Automate
- Work with technical teams on integrations involving Azure Logic Apps and Function Apps
- Support identity and access requirements involving Microsoft Entra ID, App Registrations and Service Principals
- Advise clients on Microsoft platform capability, architecture and best practice
- Support Dataverse data architecture, security and governance decisions
- Review solution quality and provide guidance and mentoring to other consultants and developers
- Produce high-quality functional designs, process maps and solution documentation
- Contribute to solution scoping, estimation and pre-sales activities where required
- Help clients make the most of Microsoft's evolving Power Platform and Dynamics ecosystem
You'll ideally bring 5+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and/or Power Platform experience, including experience operating as a Functional Lead, Senior Functional Consultant or Solution Architect.
You'll have strong hands-on capability across:
-
Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE)
- Dataverse
- Power Automate
- Canvas Apps
- Model-Driven Apps
- Power Pages
- Power BI
- Dynamics configuration, customisation, security roles and business process flows
- Dataverse security, solution management and ALM
- Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
- App Registrations and Service Principals
- Azure Logic Apps and Function Apps integration patterns
Just as importantly, you will be an excellent communicator who can build trusted relationships with clients and comfortably explain complex technical concepts to both business and technical audiences.
Relevant current Microsoft certifications are highly regarded, particularly:
-
Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant (PL-200)
- Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600)
- Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
- Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or higher
Experience with any of the following would be highly regarded:
-

- Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys
- Broader Dynamics 365 modules
- Enterprise or regulated environments
- Consulting or professional services
- Pre-sales, solution estimation and client presentations
We're proud of the environment we've built at Seers.
You'll join a team of genuinely good people who care about each other, our clients and the quality of the work we deliver.
We offer:
-
A supportive and approachable leadership team.
- Exposure to large-scale, high-profile technology programs and clients
- A culture built around trust and ownership
- No micromanagement
- Minimal bureaucracy
- Interesting and meaningful Microsoft projects
- Direct exposure to clients and senior stakeholders
