We are very excited to be looking for an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead our wonderful and dedicated team. With the support of an established team, you will ensure the highest quality of standards are delivered in our rooms and public areas.
YOUR ROLE

Overseeing the timely co-ordination of room returns in line with the Hotel arrivals and departures
- Ensure all internal and external communication is handled properly and promptly and in an appropriate manner
- Rostering, timesheets and reporting
- Ensuring sufficient and effective staffing, stock control as well as assisting with general recommendations for purchasing for the housekeeping department
- Maintaining departmental costs within the allocated budget.
- Co-ordinate all staff requirements on a daily basis, ensuring effective and sufficient staffing is provided in all sections of the department
- Ongoing development and coaching of our team (Rooms, Turndown and Public Areas) to continue to wow our guests
- Check rooms according to standard of the Hotel. Inspect public areas, including checking all VIP rooms
- To ensure that quality procedures are followed, and quality standards are maintained
- Conduct interviews with prospective employees and assist in hiring process
- To ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety procedures within the department
- Maintain a strong working relationship with other department managers, clients and relevant parties
ABOUT YOU
The right candidate will have:

Demonstrated experience in a similar role - Luxury Hotel preferred, not essential
- Strong appreciation for guest satisfaction
- Attention to detail
- Use of operating system such as Opera/Opera Cloud an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility with various shifts is required
- Most importantly, a humble individual who thrives on exceeding the guest's expectations through their genuine demeanor.
- Weekend availability is required for this role as these are our busiest days
