We are looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic team member to join our motel team as a Casual Guest Services Receptionist & All-Rounder.
About the Role
As one of the first people our guests meet, you will play an important role in making sure every guest feels welcome and enjoys a comfortable stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a warm, friendly and professional attitude
- Manage phone, email and online reservations
- Process payments, check-ins and check-outs
- Provide guests with local information and recommendations about Horsham and the surrounding region
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional reception area
Additional Duties
During quieter periods at reception, you may also assist with general motel operations, including:
- Stripping beds and assisting housekeeping staff as required
- Washing, drying and replenishing dishes in guest rooms
- Counting, checking and organising linen deliveries
- Preparing breakfast order trays and delivering breakfast to guest rooms
- Assisting with other general motel duties as required
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a positive, friendly and professional attitude
- Enjoys providing excellent customer service
- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Works well as part of a team
- Is comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- Has experience with RMS or other hotel reservation systems (preferred but not essential)
- Is flexible and available to work weekends when required
- Has previous hospitality experience (desirable, but not essential)

Regular Hours
The regular work days for this position are:
- Friday: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Sunday: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
There may also be opportunities to work additional shifts when covering for team members who are unavailable.
