An established beverage manufacturing company in Penrith NSW 2750 is looking for an experienced Production Manager.
Applicant must have completed at least a Bachelor’s degree
Applicant must at least be working as a team leader or a supervisor with a minimum of 3 years on-the-job experience specifically in a beverage manufacturing company.
Applicant who has on-the-job experience in start-up and operation of moulding, filling, packing machineries is highly regarded.
Job Description:
The Production Manager is in-charge of planning, organizing, controlling and coordinating the production activities of our beverage manufacturing business.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Work with the business to plan, organize, direct, control and coordinate the manufacturing operation;
- Develop and implement production strategies to continuously increase output and minimize costs;
- Monitor and report details of production activities in terms of quantity output, quality, and manpower requirements and performance;
- Ensure that production records are up to date;
- Plan and prepare production schedules accordingly to meet sales requirements and desired output.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance team by planning the maintenance of each equipment used in the manufacturing activities;
- Active participation in the acquisition, installation and commissioning of plant and equipment;
- Ensure implementation of occupational health and safety requirements.
The successful applicant must be flexible and can work under pressure and must be willing to work full time and preferably on-call even during weekends.
Salary: $100,000 + superannuation
