The Opportunity
Freighter Group is a leading supplier of road transport equipment, parts, and services across Australasia. We are seeking an experienced Parts Interpreter to join our Campbelltown, NSW team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our workshop operations and delivering outstanding service to both internal and external stakeholders.

About the Role
As a key member of our service and parts team, you will ensure our customers and technicians receive the right parts at the right cost. You will bridge the gap between supply and workshop execution, keeping our operations moving smoothly while maintaining high-quality relationships with our supplier network.
Key Responsibilities
- Parts Interpretation: Interpret customer and technician requirements to source correct parts via internal stock and external supplier networks.
- Supply Chain Support: Identify and resolve potential sales, ordering, or supply process roadblocks proactively.
- Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong, professional relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal workshop teams.
- Inventory Control: Support workshop stocking requirements, including participating in cycle counts, stock checks, and general inventory movements.
- Operational Efficiency: Contribute to streamlined workshop processes to minimise vehicle downtime.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all company health, safety, and environmental protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
About You
- Experience: Proven experience as a Parts Interpreter, preferably within the heavy vehicle, transport, or commercial maintenance industries.
- Qualifications: A relevant trade qualification (or equivalent industry experience) is preferred. A current Forklift License is highly favourable.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a distinct customer-service focus.
- Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail regarding part numbers and specifications.
