White King Wollongong (Illawarra Toyota) has a vacancy for a Full time Diesel Motor Mechanic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines for various vehicles and machinery.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and testing of engines.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with vehicles and machinery.
- Ensure all repairs are completed to high safety and operational standards.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
Requirements:
- AQF Certificate III for a Diesel Motor Mechanic or equivalent or relevant experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience
- Skills
- Experience at an automotive dealership company preferred
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, fuel, air, and electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Remuneration /Salary
Remuneration will reflect current market conditions and industry award rates. To be discussed with the successful applicants.
