About the Role
Gambier Earth Movers Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Engineering Technologist to join our growing team. The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting engineering projects, analysing technical data, improving operational processes, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards, and providing technical solutions for construction and materials engineering operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, developing and implementing engineering solutions for civil and construction projects.
- Analyse engineering data, technical reports and laboratory results to support project delivery.
- Develop and improve engineering processes, procedures and operational systems.
- Conduct technical investigations and recommend practical engineering solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation, engineering reports and project specifications.
- Ensure engineering activities comply with Australian Standards and relevant legislation.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, laboratory personnel and site supervisors.
- Monitor project performance and recommend improvements to efficiency and quality.
- Assist with quality assurance, safety management and environmental compliance.
- Participate in project planning, budgeting and scheduling activities.
- Evaluate engineering materials, equipment and construction methodologies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across engineering operations.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher qualification in Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
Essential Experience
- Minimum 1 years of relevant full-time experience as an Engineering Technologist or in a similar engineering role.
- Experience supporting civil construction, infrastructure or engineering projects.
- Experience preparing engineering documentation and technical reports.
- Strong understanding of Australian engineering standards and workplace safety requirements.
- Experience analysing technical data and implementing engineering improvements.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering software.

- Current Australian Driver Licence (preferred).
