Position: Cook – Full-time
Salary: $80,000 + super
We are in urgent need of a full-time cook with relevant qualifications and experience to join our team in the Love Punjab Indian Restaurant.
We are looking for someone who meets the following expectations:
- Preferably an Australian citizen/permanent resident
- Possesses a trade certificate in commercial cookery or equivalent
- Has at least one year’s experience in preparing Indian cuisine
- Familiar with Australian health and safety regulations applicable to the hospitality industry
- Has a high standard of food presentation and takes pride in his/her culinary skills
- Able to work and adapt well with the kitchen staff
- Has a passion for producing quality food to meet customer demand
- Be available for work on most days, including weekends
- Be able to communicate with suppliers to place orders for food supplies
- Fanatical about a tidy and clean hygienic kitchen and ensures food safety requirements are maintained
- Has a happy personality that is maintained under pressure
- Be a team player and has long-term intention to work with us
