Marketing Specialist at Misty's Collectables

Misty's Collectables is one of Queensland's largest trading card retailers, specialising in Pokémon, One Piece, and more. Between our retail stores, online business, live streaming, conventions, PSA submissions and growing wholesale brands, we're expanding quickly - and we're looking for an exceptional Marketing Specialist to grow with us.
This isn't a role where you'll simply schedule a few social media posts. We're looking for someone who loves creating content, building communities, and helping a brand become impossible to ignore.
What you'll be doing
- Creating engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
- Planning and executing marketing campaigns for new product launches, events and promotions.
- Capturing and editing photos and videos.
- Growing our online community and increasing engagement.
- Assisting with email marketing and customer communications.
- Working alongside our streaming team to maximise the reach of live events.
- Promoting our tournaments, conventions and in-store events.
- Collaborating with the owners to develop long-term marketing strategies.
- Analysing campaign performance and constantly looking for ways to improve.
What we're looking for
- Experience in digital marketing and content creation.
- Strong photography and video editing skills.
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
- A creative thinker who enjoys bringing new ideas to the table.
- Someone who can work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Experience with Meta, TikTok and Google advertising is highly regarded.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar editing software.
- A genuine passion for trading cards, gaming, collectibles or pop culture is a huge advantage (but not essential).
