Priding ourselves on being one of Sydney's most popular artisan bakeries, offering a fresh seasonal menu featuring European and Mediterranean influenced dishes, The Trustee For Reg Randwick Unit Trust t/as Bake Bar have locations across Sydney and we are actively recruiting for all locations. Currently seek a full-time (38hr/wk) Cook, you will be responsible for the following duties on a daily basis:
- Examining produce to ensure quality and storing food in temperature-controlled facilities
- Working with kitchen cooking equipment including regulating ovens and grills.
- Working with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to prepare food on menus.
- Cooking in accordance to set and special event menus.
- Be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Seasoning food during cooking, portioning food, presenting food for service, and adding condiments/ sauces
- Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
- May assist with plan menus and estimating food requirements
- Be able to work under high-pressure situations
- May train other kitchen staff and apprentice
Qualifications and Skills of Cook
- Diploma in Cert IV Cookery / Culinary + 1 year of relevant experience OR
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Commitment and passion for food and quality produce.
- Flexible availability to work on a rotating weekly roster.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
