What does the job look like?
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Derrimut. This is a key leadership role within a high-performing warehouse environment. You’ll lead the afternoon shift across all warehouse activities, ensuring on delivering safe, efficient, and accurate operations every day. Key areas:
Overseeing end-to-end warehouse operations across receiving, pick, pack, and dispatch
Driving on-time, in-full delivery performance across all outbound orders
Leading daily pre-starts, shift handovers, and operational briefings
Allocating labour, equipment, and dock resources to meet changing volumes
Coaching and developing team members to lift performance and engagement
Monitoring productivity, KPIs, and workflow to remove bottlenecks
Managing real-time issues including delays, equipment breakdowns, or priority changes
Ensuring full compliance with WHS, Chain of Responsibility, and site procedures
Maintaining strong communication with transport, inventory, and customer stakeholders
Every shift is different. You’ll need to think fast, act decisively, and keep the operation moving.
About you
You’re a practical leader. You’ve worked on the floor, you understand warehouse operations, and you know how to get the best out of a team. You will bring:
Previous experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader, or Shift Manager in a warehouse or logistics environment
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including dispatch, inventory, and labour planning
Hands-on experience with WMS or SAP, labour management systems and RF scanning
Proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced, high-volume environments
A strong safety mindset, with experience enforcing compliance and procedures
Confidence managing operational pressure and shifting priorities
Excellent communication skills across both floor teams and office stakeholders
Experience in regulated environments or handling dangerous goods will be highly regarded.
