The Opportunity
SEE Fleet has an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Accounts Officer to join our highly skilled and professional team, based at our Yatala office.
This is a fast-paced role where your expertise, initiative, and attention to detail will truly matter. We are seeking a finance professional with strong Accounts Payable experience working in complex systems, along with the ability to adapt quickly and work flexibly within a dynamic business. You’ll take ownership of the Accounts function, using your meticulous approach to drive efficiency, maintain robust controls, and support the wider business with timely and accurate financial processing.
In this hands-on role you will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as invoice verification, coding and processing, account and statement reconciliations, new vendor correspondence and creation, payment queries and assisting with ad hoc projects as required.

Responsibilities-
Generate and issue purchase orders as needed to facilitate the procurement of goods and services
- Review, verify, and process incoming invoices in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Maintain accurate vendor records, including setup, updates, and communication regarding payment statuses and inquiries.

Responsible to reconcile Division credit card payments to statement.

Develop and maintain good relationships with creditors and staff to improve the productivity and efficiency of processes within the accounts team.
- Responsible to investigate and resolve any payment discrepancies that arise.
- Responsible to ensure the integrity of the data is maintained so that financial and reporting data is timely and accurate.
Essential Skills and Attributes-
Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable

Proven experience in cashbook processing

Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks and maintaining focus on priorities.

Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.

Computer literacy, particularly experience working with MS Office and ERP systems.

Highly effective planning, organising and problem-solving skills together with the ability to lead, motivate and influence others.
