Our work includes residential landscape renovations, outdoor entertaining areas, strata upgrades, commercial property improvements, and pre-sale property transformations. We are expanding our landscaping division and are looking for an experienced Landscaper to help deliver high-quality outdoor spaces from concept through to completion.
For the right person, there is a genuine opportunity to step into a Team Leading position, run your own crew, and become more involved in the design process as you show your initiative and demonstrate your capability.
About the Role
You will be responsible for constructing and delivering landscape projects to a professional standard while working from client approved landscape plans and project specifications.
Projects include residential renovations, outdoor living areas, strata landscape upgrades, and enhancements to parks & civil recreation areas.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Constructing soft and hard landscape elements in accordance with approved landscape plans.
- Assisting with site set-out, preparation, excavation, and landscape construction.
- Installing turf, garden beds, planting schemes, irrigation systems, drainage, paving, edging, retaining walls, and outdoor structures.
- Working alongside our carpentry division on timber decking, screening, pergolas, and other landscape structures.
- Selecting and planting appropriate plant species to suit design intent and site conditions.
- Maintaining a safe, organised, and professional worksite.
- Recording project progress using our Job Management System (Ascora).
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in landscape construction.
- Certificate III in Landscape Construction, Horticulture, or equivalent industry experience.
- Ability to interpret landscape plans, specifications, and site measurements.
- Experience with both hard and soft landscaping.
- Strong understanding of construction techniques, plant selection, drainage, and irrigation.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
- Current Driver Licence.
- White Card.
Highly Regarded
- Experience supervising projects or leading a small crew.
- Excavator, skid steer, or machinery experience.
- MR Licence.
- Chainsaw qualification.
- Irrigation installation experience.
- Own vehicle and trailer.
