CIVIL ENGINEER - WALKABOUT CIVIL
Walkabout Civil is seeking a driven and experienced Civil Engineer to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and rapidly growing company that delivers high-quality civil construction and infrastructure projects across Queensland and the Northern Territory.
As a key member of our team, you will play an integral role in the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects. You will have the opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure outcomes while enhancing your technical expertise and advancing your professional career.
The successful candidates will possess the following:
- Strong fault-finding skills
- Road works experience
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- MC or HR license a bonus
- Capable of working remotely and willing to stay in road camps as required
- Additional skills, experience, tickets, and licences will be highly regarded
Your duties will include:
- Demonstrated experience in road construction, maintenance, and civil infrastructure projects.
- Proven ability to work effectively alongside roadworks and civil construction crews.
- Strong leadership skills with the capability to supervise, coordinate, and motivate field teams.
- Experience preparing project quotations, cost estimates, and work scopes.
- Willingness and ability to travel and work across Queensland and the Northern Territory as required.
- Experience in tender preparation, pricing, and submission processes is highly desirable.
