Vehicle Body Builder / Vehicle Accessory Fitter needed – Full-Time position
Amtek Pty Ltd is a proudly Australian owned and operated company. We specialise in building customised, engineered vehicle solutions for a range of government and private clients, including Ambulance Services, Police, Disability Access, Fire & Rescue, retirement & nursing homes, special needs schools, and many more.
We are a dynamic company building the latest emergency and specialised vehicles. You will work in a clean, modern facility in Moorebank, NSW involving significant, rewarding vehicle conversions.
We are currently recruiting an experienced Vehicle Body Builder / Vehicle Accessory Fitter to join our production workshop team on a Full-Time basis.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Assembly & Fitting: Assist in assembling a wide range of purpose-built vehicles and fitting accessories (including side steps, custom seating, specialised flooring, handrails, light bars, etc.).
- Team Collaboration: Work closely under Team Leader instructions to complete day-to-day tasks, general labouring, and specific technical assignments to support the team.
- Maintenance & Repair: Assist in the ongoing repairs and maintenance of our product range.
- Quality & Timely Workmanship: Ensure all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard to meet strict deadlines.
What We Are Looking For
- A valid Vehicle Body Builder qualification or proven years of Vehicle Fitter experience.
- Proficiency with a variety of hand and power tools.
- Ability to work well independently while maintaining an excellent team-player attitude.
