Manage the ECQ website, including coordinating content updates and delivering web design and development projects, ensuring requested changes are timely and meet organisational standards.
Manage web governance and accessibility standards, ensuring the ECQ website complies with public sector requirements and best practice standards.
Provide expert UX (user experience) and web design advice and support usability testing activities to maintain a user-centred site architecture and ensure the website meets the needs of stakeholders.
Assist in the development and implementation of initiatives, policies, processes and systems to support the effective and efficient management of the ECQ's website.
Use information from sources such as Squiz, Silktide and Google Analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of content and enable informed decisions and improved search engine optimisation (SEO).
Manage graphic design services to deliver creative solutions, including internally and externally facing materials and publications such as performance reports, corporate publications, templates, educational resources and other assets across print and digital media.
Provide expert design, production and communication advice and solutions that ensure materials meet design briefs and communicate effectively to target audiences.
Manage the ECQ's corporate identity, ensuring branding is applied consistently and complies with relevant legislation, practices and policies.
Provide advice on aspects of design and production, including publishing processes and procedures, timelines and scheduling and the correct application of ECQ's corporate identity.
Engage and manage relationships with external third parties and suppliers of design products and services, and coordinate procurement and resourcing as required.
Provide expert communication design and digital advice and services across a large range of programs to support the conduct of electoral events.
Provide support to other communication projects as required.
Build and maintain professional and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, through well-developed liaison and communication skills.
Actively engage in a team environment and contribute to a positive culture within the ECQ.
Consistently display the ECQ and Queensland Government values, ensuring that these are upheld at all levels of the organisation.
