Your Role:
Levett Engineering are a high-performance precision machining business delivering complex components and assemblies into aerospace and defence programs.
We are currently recruiting a Project Manager who will take end-to-end ownership of customer projects, managing the journey from initial contract review through to successful final delivery.
This pivotal role acts as the key link between our customers and internal operations, partnering closely with stakeholders including our Production Planning and Scheduling teams to ensure project commitments are clearly defined, achievable, and delivered on time. You will play a critical role in driving coordination, communication, and execution to achieve customer satisfaction and operational success.
Description:
Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct contract reviews, assessing technical, commercial, and delivery requirements to develop clear execution plans.
- Translate customer requirements into achievable production schedules aligned with business priorities and manufacturing capacity.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and delivery commitments.
- Coordinate Production, Quality, Engineering, and Planning teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to required quality standards.
- Partner with the Production Planner to monitor workload, capacity, and priorities, ensuring realistic production schedules.
- Drive issue resolution and corrective actions to maintain delivery, cost, quality, and safety objectives.
- Maintain proactive communication with customers, providing updates on project progress, risks, delays, and delivery expectations.
- Provide regular project status updates to internal stakeholders, ensuring visibility of performance, milestones, and key actions.
- Monitor Quality and Engineering activities to ensure project requirements and milestones are achieved.
- Demonstrate strong ownership, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach to delivering successful project outcomes.
The experience you bring:
- Proven end-to-end project management experience, from initial concept and contract review through to execution, delivery, and project close-out.
- Previous experience working within an engineering, manufacturing, or technical environment, with the ability to understand technical drawings, processes, specifications, and production requirements.
- Demonstrated experience working closely with customers throughout the project lifecycle, providing proactive communication, managing expectations, and delivering solutions aligned with customer needs.
- A proactive, hands-on Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced engineering environment and takes full ownership of project outcomes.
- High attention to detail with strong commercial awareness.
- Experience within an aerospace, defence, or AS9100-certified environment is not essential but will be highly regarded.
What sets this role apart:
- Full ownership of customer outcomes; not just internal coordination.
