REQ666105 - Speech Pathologist
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Speech Pathology Team Leader to assist in leading a dynamic team at St George Hospital in delivering high-quality, person-centred care. In this role, you will provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to the Speech Pathology Team, while driving service improvement and ensuring excellent outcomes for patients. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician ready to step into a leadership position and influence service delivery, workforce development, and innovation.

Plan, coordinate, and implement high levels of clinical expertise and specialised knowledge in order to provide high quality Speech Pathology care to clients and patients of the St George Hospital consistent with NSW Health, South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) policies, procedures and standards.

Selection Criteria
- Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and Speech Pathology Australia
- Extensive post graduate clinical experience in Speech Pathology in a hospital setting.
- Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, throughout all organisational levels
- Proven ability to provide high level clinical advice and education to enhance service delivery and to guide and support others in providing service excellence
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to apply independent professional judgement when dealing with situations of a complex nature
- Ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes and lead ongoing quality improvement activities with other staff
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing clinical and professional learning
