Flow Health & Cardiac Diagnostics is a growing specialist medical practice offering multidisciplinary specialist services and cardiac diagnostics. We are seeking an experienced Senior Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and collaborative team.

About the Role
As a Senior Medical Receptionist, you will provide high-quality reception and administrative support within our specialist practice. You will help ensure the smooth running of daily patient services and deliver a welcoming experience for our patients.
This is a permanent part-time position suited to someone who is organised, reliable, and confident working both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Welcoming patients and providing professional front-of-house reception services
- Registering new patients, managing appointments, and processing payments
- Answering phone calls and responding to patient enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Supporting Specialists with daily clinic preparation, including appointment lists and referral checks
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality at all times
- Liaising with GPs, specialists, allied health providers, and external medical organisations
- Ensuring medical correspondence and reports are processed and sent efficiently
- Completing end-of-day banking and Tyro settlements
- Assisting with general practice tasks
About You
You are an experienced medical receptionist who understands the importance of professionalism, accuracy, and compassionate patient care.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous medical reception experience within a specialist practice or general practice setting (essential)
- Experience using Xestro Practice Management Software or similar medical practice management systems
- Strong understanding of medical administration processes and terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to prioritise tasks and manage a busy reception environment
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn new skills
- A professional and friendly manner with patients, doctors, and colleagues
Previous experience working within a specialist medical practice will be highly regarded.
