In addition to a competitive base, this role offers on-target earnings of $270,000 per year, tied directly to loan settlements and client satisfaction — it is uncapped for those who perform above plan. The more you write, the more you earn. Structure details, including transition support for your existing book, will be shared with shortlisted candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management & Loan Origination:
- Loan Origination – Own the full mortgage application lifecycle from initial client enquiry through to settlement across a high volume, complex, and varied client base
- Lead Conversion – Convert a warm and continuous inbound lead pipeline generated through the firm’s referral network, digital channels, and existing client base, supplementing your own established flow
- Loan Book Management – Bring, grow, and actively manage your loan book, conducting regular client reviews, identifying refinancing opportunities, and protecting and growing trail revenue
- Advanced Needs Analysis – Lead complex financial needs analyses, structure tailored lending solutions across a broad lender panel, and confidently manage sophisticated or non-standard borrowing scenarios
- Settlement & Compliance – Ensure all applications are lodged accurately, compliantly, and efficiently through the aggregator platform, meeting all NCCP and responsible lending obligations at a consistently high standard
Business Development & Growth:
- Referral Relationships – Leverage and expand an established network of referral partners — real estate agents, accountants, financial planners, and conveyancers — to accelerate pipeline growth beyond what you’ve built to date
- Mentorship & Technique – Work directly with one of the country’s most experienced brokers to refine structuring, conversion, and client management techniques that take a strong book to an elite one
- Brand Representation – Represent Brokerage & Co with professionalism and integrity in the Adelaide market, contributing to the firm’s growing reputation as the broker of choice
- Performance Reporting – Maintain accurate records in the CRM and provide regular pipeline and settlement reporting to the Principal to ensure full visibility of your book and performance
- Team Contribution – Where appropriate, share knowledge and best practice with junior brokers coming through the business, reinforcing the firm’s culture of mentorship
