About the Role:
Join Adult Community Mental Health Services (ACMHS) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of people experiencing mental health challenges. As part of the Intake Services Teams, you will provide evidence-based, recovery-focused care to adults across the ACT, working collaboratively with consumers, carers, and key stakeholders to deliver personalised and compassionate support.
Working within the Home Assessment and Acute Response Team (HAART), you will deliver timely crisis intervention and outreach assessment to people experiencing moderate to severe mental illness, helping to reduce hospital admissions and support care in the community. You may also contribute to the innovative PACER service, partnering with Police and Ambulance services to provide rapid, coordinated responses to mental health crises.
This dynamic role offers variety, professional growth, and the opportunity to work within a highly supportive multidisciplinary team. The position operates on a rotating roster across seven days, including weekends, public holidays, and on-call, reporting to the HAART Team Leader.
