HV Engineer - Testing & Commissioning
We are looking for an experienced HV Technician / HV Engineer with strong capability in protection relay testing, configuration, and commissioning across mining, industrial, and utility projects.
The role will involve:
- Protection relay testing/configuration (SEL, Siemens, GE, ABB, Schneider)
- GOOSE / IEC 61850 configuration and testing
- SCADA testing and point-to-point checks
- Transformer testing
- ACB testing – Terasaki, Siemens, ABB, Schneider
- HV circuit breaker testing
- CT/VT testing
- HiPot and cable VLF testing
- Earthing testing (FOP, step and touch, EPR)
- Secondary injection, primary injection, functional testing, and commissioning support
- Preparation of test reports and commissioning documentation

Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in HV testing and commissioning
- Strong background in protection relays and systems
- Solid knowledge of HV primary and secondary equipment
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and protection studies
- Experience using test equipment (Omicron, Megger, etc.)
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to work independently on site and within a team
Pay: $70.00 – $75.00 per hour
