About the role
As a Palliative Care Nurse (EN or RN), you will provide high-quality clinical care and emotional support to patients with life-limiting illnesses. You will play an essential role in symptoms management, end-of-life care, patient advocacy and supporting families and carers.

Key responsibilities:
-
Delivering compassionate and evidence-based nursing care
-
Assessing pain and complex symptoms effectively
-
Supporting patients and families emotionally and psychologically
-
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
-
Participating in discharge planning and care coordination
-
Maintaining accurate clinical documents
-
Contributing to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Essential Criteria:
Authority to work in Australia
Current AHPRA Registration (no restrictions)
Experience in palliative, oncology and aged care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
To work well both independently and within a team
Desirable

Postgraduate qualification or studies in palliative care

Experience with syringe drivers and symptoms management
-
Knowledge of advanced care planning and end-of-life care pathways
