Sky Electrical and Elevator Co' is a small, tight-knit team looking for a 3rd or 4th year apprentice electrician who wants to step off the standard path and into something specialised.
This isn't another residential or commercial construction gig where you pull the same cable runs for the next ten years. We're elevator and escalator specialists. We work on electrical systems most sparkies never get to touch — control systems, power runs, switchboards, and installation tuning. We run lean, we move fast, and we actually know your name.
If you're licensed already, great. If you're in your final year and hungry to learn, even better. We'll train the right person properly.
WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO
- Run electrical components, wiring, and connections for lift and escalator systems
- Install, test, and maintain elevator electrical systems on-site
- Help with mains power runs and switchboard upgrades
- Work independently across Sydney — no micro-managers hovering
- Complete work orders and keep clear documentation (we keep it simple)
- Learn from a team that actually does the work, not just talks about it
WHAT YOU NEED
- Currently a 3rd or 4th year electrical apprentice, or recently licensed
- Solid foundation in electrical installations (commercial or industrial preferred)
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics — or willingness to learn fast
- Clean driver's licence
- Safety-conscious mindset — non-negotiable
- Pride in your work and a genuine want to learn a niche trade
Lift experience is a bonus, but not required. We will train you properly.
