Shift Fill Officer - Casual | Hybrid
Are you organised, a confident communicator and someone who enjoys solving problems in a fast-paced environment?
We are looking for two
Casual Shift Fill Officers to join our team and help keep essential support services running for our clients.
We are looking for people to provide support during After Hours (5am to 9am - 4pm and 10pm Monday - Friday, 5am to 10pm Saturday & Sunday)
In this hybrid role, you'll respond to roster vacancies and changes, working with Personal Support Workers, clients and internal teams to find solutions and ensure shifts are filled.
What will you be doing?
As part of our Shift Fill Team, you will:
- Coordinate and fill vacant Personal Support Worker shifts, including those arising from unplanned leave.
- Contact and work with Personal Support Worker's to find suitable shift coverage.
- Communicate with clients and internal teams about roster changes.
- Adjust rosters while considering client needs, availability and award requirements.
- Maintain accurate information across our rostering systems.
- Problem-solve quickly when staffing or service needs change.
What are we looking for?
You'll be a great fit if you have:
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Great organisation and time management skills.
- Confidence speaking with people and negotiating solutions.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Good attention to detail and confidence using computer systems.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach.
Experience in rostering and scheduling within the disability or community service industries would be an advantage.
