We bring the authentic, deeply relaxing rituals of a traditional Japanese Head Spa to our clients. We combine advanced scalp health treatments with holistic massage techniques to stimulate hair growth, reduce stress, and promote total body wellness. We are looking for a skilled Massage Therapist to help us deliver this premium, luxury experience and to run the spa.
The Role: In this specialized role, you will perform tailored scalp and upper-body rituals. You will combine holistic relaxation with technical scalp treatments using specialized water-halo equipment, steam therapy, and organic oils.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform signature Japanese Head Spa rituals, including deep scalp cleansing, exfoliation, and targeted acupressure.
- Deliver exceptional massage techniques focusing on the scalp, neck, shoulders, face, and décolletage.
- Provide professional consultations on scalp wellness, relaxation, and hair-health maintenance.
- Maintain treatment room hygiene and ensure all specialized spa equipment is pristine and sterilized.
- Recommend and retail premium, organic scalp and hair-care products.
What We Are Looking For
- Qualification in Massage Therapy (Certificate IV, Diploma of Remedial Massage, or a relevant beauty therapy qualification with strong massage skills).
- Experience in head spa rituals or a strong desire to learn (comprehensive training in Japanese Head Spa techniques will be provided).
- Excellent tactile and pressure control skills for precise cranial and facial acupressure.
- Warm, professional demeanor with exceptional communication and customer care skills.
- High attention to detail and a true passion for holistic wellness and relaxation.
