About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and self motivated Retail Assistant to join our team at Penrith. In this casual role, you will focus on delivering exceptional customer service while contributing to strong sales performance in a busy retail environment.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly, understand their needs, and provide attentive service
Work collaboratively with your team to achieve daily and monthly sales targets
Process sales accurately and efficiently using our POS system
Assist with stock management, including receiving and unpacking deliveries, with some heavy lifting required
Maintain high visual merchandising standards and overall store presentation
Skills and Experience
Minimum one year of retail sales experience in a fast paced environment
Strong communication skills and a professional approach
Confident building relationships with customers and supporting your team
Experience using electronic POS systems
High standard of personal presentation
Flexible availability, including weekends and late night trading
A genuine passion for homewares and retail

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $33.19 per year
Experience:
- Point of Sale (POS) software: 1 year (Preferred)
- Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
