We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in West Perth, Western Australia. This temporary position is full time for around 3 months with possible extension; and is crucial for processing account payable into Xero. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our financial operations and contributing to the overall efficiency of our accounts payable processes.
Responsibilities:

Process and verify invoices for payment in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding payment inquiries and issues.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required.
Qualifications:

Fluency in Xero is essential
- Up to 5 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
