iCan Support Services is seeking compassionate, resilient, and motivated Disability & Mental Health Support Workers to join our growing team on the Sunshine Coast.
This role is suited to individuals who are passionate about making a real difference in the lives of people living with psychosocial disabilities, mental health challenges, complex behaviours, and high-support needs.
About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred supports to NDIS participants within their home and community environments.
Duties may include:
- Assisting with daily living tasks and personal care
- Supporting participants with mental health recovery goals
- Community access and social participation
- Medication prompting and support
- Behaviour support implementation
- Domestic assistance and meal preparation
- Transport to appointments and activities
- Maintaining professional case notes and documentation
- Supporting participants to build independence and confidence

Essential Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- Blue Card / Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
- Smartphone with internet access
- Ability to complete case notes and use apps/software systems
Highly Desirable
- Experience in mental health, SIL, complex behaviours, or high-intensity supports
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Mental Health, Disability, Community Services, or similar
- Medication competency experience
- Experience with restrictive practices and behaviour support plans
