Ventia is seeking a Project Administrator to join our Special Forces Training Facilities (SFTF) team based at Campbell Barracks.
Supporting three Project Managers and a team of approximately 25 trades personnel, you'll play an important role in keeping the administration and accounts side of the project running smoothly. This is a varied support role suited to someone who enjoys being organised, working with people and helping a team stay on track.
About the Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Raising purchase orders

Taking meeting minutes and tracking actions

Providing administrative support to the project team

Assisting with accounts administration
-
Maintaining records, documentation and project information

Supporting payroll and Defence travel enquiries
-
Coordinating day-to-day administrative activities across the team
About the Team
Based at Campbell Barracks, you'll work closely with project managers, trades personnel and Defence stakeholders in a collaborative office environment. You'll be part of a small team that values reliability, teamwork and a willingness to help where needed.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Previous administration, project support or accounts experience

Strong organisational and time management skills

A high level of attention to detail

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Confidence using Microsoft Office applications

The ability to build positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders

Experience with SAP, Ariba or similar systems will be highly regarded.
Requirements

Be an Australian Citizen

Be eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1 Defence Security Clearance

Successfully complete a Police Check
