About the Role:

Plan and prepare nutritious, seasonal meals and snacks for children aged 6 weeks to school age.

Develop menus using Feed Australia while accommodating allergies, cultural and dietary requirements.

Maintain a safe, clean and compliant kitchen environment.

Manage ordering, stock control and minimise food waste.
- Partner with educators to make food and nutrition part of children's learning experiences.

Applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia.

Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an ACECQA-approved Early Childhood qualification is required.

Current Working with Children Check and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate are required.

Knowledge of early childhood nutrition, food safety and allergy management is essential.

Availability to work Monday to Friday during centre operating hours is required.
Essential Requirements:

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or ACECQA-approved qualification.

Current Working with Children Check.

Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.

Understanding of early childhood nutrition and Australian dietary guidelines.
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene, WHS and food safety standards.
