About the Role
We are seeking a creative and client focused Interior Designer to join our growing team in Sydney.
This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys working closely with clients, developing design concepts, presenting ideas, and coordinating projects from concept through to delivery. Our dedicated Documents team manages the detailed documentation, allowing you to focus on design, creativity, and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand project requirements and present design concepts.
- Prepare space planning layouts, mood boards, presentations, and 3D visualisations.
- Coordinate with the Documents team to ensure drawings accurately reflect the approved design intent.
- Select finishes, materials, furniture, fixtures, and fittings within project budgets.
- Work closely with Project Managers and site teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay up to date with design trends, products, and industry best practices.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial interior design, preferably in retail, hospitality, or workplace projects.
- Proficiency in SketchUp and AutoCAD.
- Experience with Enscape or similar rendering software is highly regarded.
- Strong client communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent creativity, problem solving, and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
