Car Yard Assistant / Yard Hand – Penrith
We require a reliable, presentable and motivated person to join our team at our Penrith car yard.
This role will start at 3 days per week, with the opportunity to build to 5 days per week plus overtime for the right person.
Hours: 8:30am to 5:00pm
Location: Penrith
Licence: Australian driver licence required. P-platers welcome.
Main duties will include:
- Washing and detailing cars
- Picking up and dropping off vehicles
- General yard duties
- Keeping the yard clean, organised and presentable
- Following instructions and completing tasks properly
For the right person, the role may grow to include:
- Taking photos of vehicles
- Helping with advertising
- Basic paperwork and admin
- Speaking with customers
- Assisting with day-to-day car yard operations
The right person must be:
- Reliable, punctual and hard-working
- Happy, positive and a good team player
- Able to follow instructions
- Presentable and confident around customers
- Able to understand written and spoken English
- Willing to learn and take on more responsibility
