About the Role
Gaming Manager | Petrie Hotel
Are you an experienced gaming specialist ready to take total ownership of a bustling, 40 machine gaming room on Moreton Bay's northern corridor? The Petrie Hotel is looking for a driven, customer-focused Gaming Manager who knows how to deliver high-touch service, maintain immaculate room presentation, and keep a room firing at peak performance!
"The Petrie" is built on strong local connections and high-volume trade. Whether you are managing the floor flow during a peak jackpot run, greeting our tight-knit community of regulars by name, or coaching your host team on fast payout execution and RSG, this venue requires a leader who loves being right in the center of the action. We need someone with sharp operational instincts who can balance the books to the cent, maintain 100% airtight compliance, and create an energetic, welcoming atmosphere every day.
A day in the life of a Gaming Manager:
- Know the regulars by name and make them feel right at home
- Work closely with the Publican to keep the room running smoothly, safely, and within all the rules
- Share your gaming know-how and help your team be the best in the biz
- Bring the good vibes, great service, and friendly smiles every shift
Inherent requirements:
This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
About you:
- You’ve been in the gaming room world for a while, as an attendant, supervisor, or manager
- You’ve learned from great managers and are ready to step up
- You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the gaming room
- You understand compliance and safe gaming inside out
- You’ve got a current RSA and RSG as per state requirements
If you’re all about great service, happy players, and running a top-notch gaming room – we’d love to chat.
The benefits are good too!
