What does the job look like?
The Commercial Analyst plays a critical role in providing deep commercial, financial and operational insight across our Retail portfolio. Embedded within the operation, you’ll partner closely with senior operational leaders and customers to drive performance, efficiency and commercial outcomes.
This role supports a multi‑site network across NSW and QLD, delivering high‑quality reporting, analysis and modelling to support contract performance, KPI delivery and continuous improvement initiatives.
As a member of the commercial team, you’ll influence decision‑making, improve financial discipline and help shape smarter, more productive logistics solutions.
Key responsibilities
Deliver accurate commercial, operational and financial reporting to stakeholders
Monitor and report contract performance against financial and operational KPIs
Develop and maintain KPI frameworks, models and insights to support decision‑making
Provide timely inputs to weekly financial reporting and customer billing
Partner with site leaders to build commercial insight and understand performance drivers
Drive continuous improvement through strong governance, controls, automation and data efficiency

You bring a strong analytical mindset, commercial judgement and the confidence to challenge, influence and improve outcomes.
You can demonstrate
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline
CA / CPA (or working towards) highly regarded
Proven experience in commercial analysis, financial modelling or operational finance
Exposure to transport, logistics, supply chain or asset‑intensive environments advantageous
Advanced Excel skills; SQL or data tools highly regarded
Strong attention to detail with the ability to reconcile complex financial information
Ability to partner with senior operational and commercial stakeholders
