Trainee Floor Supervisor – Full-Time
Hungry Italiano is a small, family-owned restaurant in Terrigal, and we’re looking for a confident and hardworking Trainee Floor Supervisor to join our front-of-house team ahead of the busy spring and summer season.
This is a full-time opportunity for someone who wants to learn how to lead a restaurant floor, deliver excellent customer service and grow into a strong supervisory role. We will provide training to the right person.
The role includes:
- Welcoming and seating guests
- Taking orders and providing friendly, attentive service
- Learning to coordinate the restaurant floor during busy services
- Supporting and directing junior front-of-house staff
- Managing bookings, table flow and customer requests
- Preparing the restaurant before service and completing closing duties
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Handling customer concerns calmly and professionally
- Supporting the management team wherever needed
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is at least 18 years old
- Has a strong work ethic and a genuine can-do attitude
- Is confident, friendly and comfortable speaking with customers
- Is dependable, punctual and takes responsibility seriously
- Can stay calm, organised and focused during busy services
- Is willing to learn, accept feedback and lead by example
- Lives locally and has reliable transport to Terrigal
- Is genuinely available for full-time work
- Holds a current NSW RSA, or is willing to obtain one before commencing
Availability is required Wednesday to Sunday, between 11:00 am and 9:30 pm, with rostered hours and breaks arranged in accordance with the applicable award.
Previous hospitality experience is helpful, but we are willing to train someone with the right attitude, confidence and commitment.
We are a small team, so everyone must be willing to work hard, support each other and turn up ready to contribute.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
