Full-Time Practice Manager – Mat Leave Cover

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Practice Manager to join our team at Vets @ Acacia Gardens. This is a key leadership role responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic, supporting both clinical staff and the client experience, while driving operational excellence and a positive workplace culture.
About the Role
As Practice Manager, you will oversee the non-clinical operations of the clinic and work closely with the veterinary and nursing teams to ensure efficiency, compliance, and exceptional service delivery. You will be a central point of leadership, supporting staff performance, financial processes, HR functions, and client care standards.
This role is for Maternity leave cover until March 2027.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily clinic operations and workflow efficiency
Lead, support, and develop non-clinical and clinical support staff
Manage rostering, HR processes, onboarding, and staff performance
Maintain financial oversight including invoicing, reporting, and budgeting support
Coordinate inventory, supplier relationships, and clinic purchasing
Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and veterinary regulations
Support client service standards and handle escalated client concerns
Work collaboratively with veterinarians and nursing leadership to improve clinic performance
About You
Previous experience in practice management (veterinary or healthcare preferred)
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Confident with financial systems, reporting, and administrative processes
Strong communication skills and a calm, solutions-focused approach
Ability to balance competing priorities in a busy clinical environment
Passion for supporting both people and operational excellence
