DWF Claims Management Australia is looking for a dedicated Senior Account Manager in our Property Claims team. This role will be based in Melbourne or Sydney CBD on a full-time basis.
As a Senior Account Manager for Insurer Clients, you will be responsible for ownership and management of a portfolio of Complex Property claims. The role includes liaising with relevant stakeholders, understanding complex insurance placements, assessing policy coverage and financial exposure and making recommendations for the future strategy of each claim, with the aim of achieving superior results for our Clients.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of complex property claims from lodgement through to resolution, ensuring compliance with client SLAs and internal authority levels.
- Conduct coverage assessments, liability reviews, reserve management, and recovery evaluations to support effective claims outcomes.
- Develop and implement claim strategies, engaging Loss Adjusters, investigators, and external service providers as required.
- Maintain accurate claim files, undertake regular file reviews, and complete all associated claims administration activities.
- Oversee client trust accounts, including payment of invoices, settlement processing, and monitoring of loss fund balances.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, brokers, insureds, legal representatives, and other stakeholders through regular communication and effective stakeholder management.
- Utilise claims management systems and Microsoft Office applications to ensure accurate reporting, documentation, and adherence to company procedures.
- Contribute to business performance through effective claim management, client retention, business development initiatives, and collaboration with team members.
