Your opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer – Podium to join our high-performing construction team at 55 Pitt Street, one of Mirvac’s landmark commercial developments in the heart of Sydney’s Circular Quay precinct. With frontages to Pitt, Underwood and Dalley Streets, 55 Pitt Street will deliver approximately 63,000 square metres of premium commercial and activated retail space, contributing to the revitalisation of one of Sydney’s most iconic CBD locations.
In this role, you will support the successful delivery of the podium works, working closely with the broader site team, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers to drive safe, high-quality and efficient construction outcomes. You will play a key role in coordinating trade activities, monitoring programme performance, supporting procurement and ensuring project documentation, quality assurance and HSE requirements are delivered to Mirvac’s standards.
You will also contribute to a positive and collaborative site culture, helping build strong relationships across the project team while supporting the development of cadets and team members as they grow their construction careers at Mirvac.
Your point of difference
- Experience in a Project Engineer or similar site-based construction role, ideally within a main contractor environment on complex commercial, mixed-use or major building projects
- A relevant tertiary qualification in construction management, engineering or a related discipline is preferred
- Strong planning, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced site environment
- A collaborative working style and the confidence to build trusted relationships with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and internal stakeholders
- A genuine commitment to safety, quality and delivering work that creates long-term value for customers and communities
