Why This Role Matters
This is a key, field-based role within our Queensland Survey team. You will be instrumental in delivering high-quality survey outcomes on site, supporting project delivery, mentoring junior surveyors, and contributing to the ongoing growth and success of the team.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver a range of surveying projects including construction, topographic and cadastral surveys
- Operate and manage survey technologies including Total Stations, GPS, UAV and scanning equipment
- Use industry-standard survey software to produce accurate, high-quality outputs
- Work closely with Survey Managers and the wider team to ensure scope, timelines and quality requirements are met
- Communicate confidently and professionally with clients and project stakeholders
- Work autonomously in the field, solving problems efficiently as they arise
- Mentor and support junior surveyors and technicians across field and office activities
What You Bring
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar surveying role
- Exposure to UAV and scanning technologies (highly regarded)
- Proven ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Valid Driver’s Licence
