- Work within a nationally recognised tertiary referral and teaching hospital.
- Collaborate with experienced multidisciplinary teams across acute and specialised services.
- Be supported to develop your leadership, research and clinical expertise.
- Contribute to quality improvement projects that shape physiotherapy practice across WSLHD.
- Help foster a positive learning environment through supervision and mentoring.
What you'll be doing
In this senior clinical role, you'll provide expert cardiopulmonary physiotherapy services to patients with complex acute health conditions while supporting service excellence, staff development and continuous improvement.
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based cardiopulmonary physiotherapy across a varied and complex inpatient caseload.
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision and mentoring to junior physiotherapists and students.
- Collaborate with medical, nursing and allied health teams to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care.
- Lead and contribute to quality improvement, education and research initiatives that enhance clinical practice.
- Assist with service coordination, workforce planning, orientation and day-to-day operational support within the cardiopulmonary physiotherapy team.

Essential Criteria:
- Qualification: Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy
- Registration: Current General Physiotherapy Registration under AHPRA
Selection Criteria:
1. High level customer service skills.
2. Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients
3. Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail.
4. Ability to work with minimal supervision and use initiative.
5. Understanding of the management of patient complaints and patient privacy.
6. Highly developed communication, coaching and facilitation skills.
7. Demonstrated skill in the analysis of complex issues, problem solving, formulating new approaches and implementing comprehensive change programs and improvement strategies, including the ability to develop and monitor outcomes.
