As the Sonographer - Advanced you will deliver advanced Ultrasound clinical services and clinical leadership to stakeholders/customers of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) and Queensland Health, across a multidisciplinary team and at the service level.
Key Responsibilities include:
Provide high-level clinical support and advice to staff within the multidisciplinary team (MDT) with the management and problem solving regarding clinically complex patients.
Foster a culture of ongoing professional development for staff by collaborating with the Clinical Educator to identify, initiate, develop and participate in clinical education programs within the Medical Imaging / Nuclear Medicine and across multidisciplinary teams.
Assist with the Ultrasound profession workforce recruitment and planning to meet service requirements in collaboration with Clinical Manager and Director.
Collaborate with others to lead change through service-wide quality and service improvement activities, such as the collaborative development and implementation of Ultrasound clinical practices and guidelines.
Remuneration comprising salary rates $73.12 - $76.30 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP5) (part time, 64 hrs p.f.).
