Together, these roles will help Vocus turn insight into measurable business value.
We're looking for a Process Intelligence Lead – Data & Platform based in Melbourne, to establish and operate the technical backbone of our process intelligence capability. Using industry-leading process mining technology, you'll transform data from Salesforce and connected business systems into a trusted, end-to-end view of how work actually flows across Vocus.
This is one of the first critical hires into the Process Centre of Excellence. You'll play a key role in creating the foundations that enable our business to identify value leakage, uncover improvement opportunities and make smarter decisions backed by data.
Working closely with the Head of Process Excellence, Process Intelligence Lead – Insight & Analysis, Data & Analytics teams and Process intelligence capability, you'll build a scalable capability that will shape how operational excellence is delivered across Vocus.
What You'll Be Responsible for
As the Process Intelligence Lead – Data & Platform, you will:
- Build, configure and operate the Process intelligence capability process mining platform and supporting data environment.
- Develop event logs, data pipelines and integrations that connect process data across multiple enterprise systems.
- Integrate data from Salesforce, ServiceNow, Telflow, billing platforms and other operational systems to create end-to-end process visibility.
- Design and maintain a reusable process intelligence data model that can scale across multiple business value chains.
- Establish repeatable data onboarding, governance and documentation practices.
- Ensure data quality, lineage, integrity and platform performance to support trusted business insights.
- Partner with Process intelligence capability expert services to accelerate implementation while building internal capability.
- Ensure all platform and data activities align with Vocus security, privacy and governance requirements.
- Work closely with business, technology and analytics stakeholders to continuously improve process intelligence capability.
What Success Looks Like
In this role, you'll deliver:
- A fully operational and scalable Process intelligence capability environment.
- Connected event logs across the Market & Sell systems landscape.
- Reusable and documented data pipelines and onboarding frameworks.
- High-quality, trusted process intelligence data used by business leaders and Finance to drive decision making.
- Strong internal capability and platform sustainability through effective knowledge transfer.
What you’ll bring to the role
You're equally comfortable working with data, platforms and business stakeholders. You enjoy solving complex integration challenges and turning fragmented system data into meaningful insights that drive measurable business outcomes.
- 4+ years' experience in data engineering, process mining, process analytics or related disciplines.
- Hands-on experience with a process mining platform such as Apromore, Celonis, SAP Signavio or similar.
- Strong SQL and data engineering skills, including event log creation and multi-system data integration.
- Experience designing data models and building scalable data pipelines.
- Knowledge of enterprise data quality, governance, lineage and security practices.
- Familiarity with Salesforce data structures and CRM environments.
- Exposure to telecommunications, technology, OSS/BSS or complex operational environments is highly regarded.
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
