Deliver engaging onboarding and workplace training across Hamilton Island's Food & Beverage operations

Provide hands-on coaching in restaurants, bars and other F&B venues to strengthen service skills and operational confidence

Coach and mentor team members in areas such as sequence of service, guest engagement, product knowledge, upselling and service excellence

Support the development and continuous improvement of F&B training programs, resources and competency frameworks

Work closely with venue managers and operational leaders to identify capability gaps and targeted training opportunities

Monitor employee progress and provide constructive, practical feedback to support ongoing development

Ensure F&B training materials remain current, consistent and aligned with company standards, responsible service requirements and Workplace Health & Safety obligations

Support new team members as they transition from onboarding into their venues, helping them build confidence and capability on the job

Identify opportunities to improve training outcomes and promote continuous learning across our Food & Beverage teams

Reinforce Hamilton Island's service standards through visible, practical and engaging workplace coaching
You're an enthusiastic and approachable hospitality professional who loves helping others succeed. You bring strong Food & Beverage operational experience, excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for developing people.
You understand what great service looks and feels like in a busy hospitality environment and know how to translate that experience into practical coaching. Whether you're facilitating a training session, supporting a new team member or coaching alongside a venue team during service, you're focused on building confidence, capability and consistently high standards.

Demonstrated Food & Beverage hospitality experience (Essential)

Strong understanding of restaurant, bar and/or high-volume F&B operations

Current Driver Licence with the ability to drive on Queensland roads (Essential)

Excellent communication, coaching and interpersonal skills

Previous supervisory, team leader or workplace training experience (Highly regarded)

Strong knowledge of guest service standards and F&B service fundamentals

Certificate III in Hospitality Operations or equivalent (Preferred)

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or similar qualification (Preferred)

Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certification, or ability to obtain (Highly regarded)

A positive attitude, attention to detail and the flexibility to work a rotating roster
