About the role
As part of the Medical Education Unit, the Senior Medical Education Officer will identify and assess the training needs of prevocational medical graduates, design and deliver tailored training programs, and support the achievement of accreditation requirements for training programmes.About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Identify the educational needs of prevocational medical staff in accordance with Prevocational Medical Accreditation Queensland (PMAQ) standards, the Medical Practitioners Registration act 2001 and the Australian Curriculum Framework for Junior Doctors.
Assist the DCT and PMEO in the management, development, implementation, evaluation and improvement in prevocational doctor training programs, orientation and other medical education programs and activities within the facility consistent with adult learning principles, accreditation standards and the National Curriculum Framework for Junior Doctors.
Identify, develop, implement and evaluate educational resource material for the Prevocational Doctor Training Program in a manner consistent with Metro North and state-wide medical education strategies.
